Holy crap, I've really gotten lazy about my own site. Not sexy. Lol. For those wondering what happened or randomly come across this site thanks for stopping by. Yes I am still alive and been swamped with work, school and I won't deny the occasional netflix / anime binge watch which has rendered me unmotivated to stay up to date with this thing. Mostly since I'd prefer to edit and moderate everything, rather than hire outside help. But I may look into that.....later.
So what brings me to come out of cyro-frezze?
It's kind sad I have only one other post in the "active" section. A bit of bullshit, no denying that! About a year in a half gap. How is that active? Whoops!
Still, I've been in 'reboot' mode. No, not caused of the new year, negative. I've been holding off doing my cleanse for over a year. Kept talking about it and postponing which got really annoyed with myself. So I stopped trying to plan and just well, did it.
I GOT COMFORTABLE! 😱
And anyone that knows me is well aware how much I loathe that mundane state. Finally jumped on it and yes it has been one mother flipper of a struggle but I am holding my ground. I started on January the 18th and plan to hopfully go upto February 18th. A solid 30 days with no solids!
Wait, what?! No food?! So you're fasting?
Yes and no. This is my second round of the master cleanse. I use it as a detox to rid of impurities, toxins and all other crap that is making me feel constantly like a walking corpse. From the moment of your birth, unless you have a ridiculously insane metabolism, your arteries will clog over time from unbroken down and undigested food which stores in your intestines; it's cause of many health issues. I do not want to be another statistic. I've been good for the most part in clean eating such as intaking 30-50% organics. But I have eaten a bit more takeout than I wanted to. However, it is still bad, at least my dine of choice has been more on the health conscious side. But I am tired of feeling very exhausted and bloated. And there is no one to blame but me. I allowed myself to spiral out of control. That plus all the candy, drugs (legeal prespcription medication) and alcohol (and yes alcohol is still a drug). Basically anything that was ok in moderation yeeahh, I took a little more than I should have. Oops. :P
So how is it done?
It's detox but you do lose weight in the process. If you want to try it yourself here's how to do it correctly. The acutal program is no more than 7-10 days of the core lemon diet. However, 3-4 days consits of easing in and 4-5 days easing out.
What do you mean by easing in and easing out?
In order to acheive maxium results, your body must adjust to the change of a liquid diet. And it's very difficult especically if you've eaten lots fast food and taken a bunch of drugs. For them, it will be brutal but worth it in the end. The beginng is the hardest. Getting past that hill of cravins and wanting to give in is crucial. Your mind & stomache will try everything to break you down and give up. It's a test of will and self discipline as well as self control. We are capable of being internally and externally strong. It all depends on how bad you want it. Thus you have to take the process slowly by easing in as well as easing out. If you do not ease out you can hurt yourself by not taking the proper process. So take it slow.
OK, so how do you ease in & out?
Day 1 should be mostly raw fruits and vegetables. Do your best in avoiding meats, carbs or anything that will be a MF in dealing with later. However if you must, make sure it is only one heavy meal. But do your best in avoiding it.
Day 2 and 3 is all fruits and vegitable smoothies. No do not go to jamba juice or any of those places. Get your lazy ass in order and go to the market. My fruit smoothie consist of Bananas, black berries, Blue Berries, dark cherries, pineapple, a table spoon of flax and chia seed, with almond vegan milk of vanilla and coca as well as coconut water. It is incredibly delicious! My veggie smoothies are beet, carrots, ginger, green apple and cucumber sometimes with kiwi.
Note: you should be only taking in a liquid ish foods at this point but if you must, you can consum light fruits or vegitables. I par took in slices of cucumber with lemon juice and sea salt.
Day 4 is stricly juice only. Orange juice. No pulp. This is to prepare yourself for the heavy citrus acids your body will intake. I can't stand oranges, it's too bitter for me. What I did is let them sit it out about a week in the fridge and the taste was really good.
Note 2: In my case it was about 8-9 oranges the size of baseball to fill up a 20 oz cup. You need about 60 oz but can do by with 40 for the whole day. So about 3dozen strained juice. No pulp!
Day 5 the lemon diet! Now you'll need to consumed 6 glasses per day which is 8oz each. Not including the lemon diet which is a grand total of 10-12 oz. About 60-70 oz per day. The items are simple.
• Lemons! Lots of them
• Grade B maple Syrup
• Cayenne pepper
• Purified water. Not bottle or tap water those have acidic properties in them.
Amount!
• 2 Table spoons of lemon juice (No pulp)
• 2 Table spoons of maple syrup
• 1/10 of a tea spoon of cayenne pepper
(Or as much as you can handle, I do 1/2 tsp.)
• 8-10oz glass of warm or mildly hot purified water.
To make it easy, get a 24 oz cup and consume 3 of those a day. This is what I do and I have to double the amount. So we go from 2,2,¹/² → 4,4,1. It will be spicy the more pepper you add. But if you can handle it, go for it.
So what's your schedule like?
Since I'm doing full cleanse as well as incorporating exercising as well, I have to modify it a bit so I can handle the extra intake. My mornings consist of waking up to the sea salt flush, which is a liter of purified warm water with 2 tsp of non-iodoize seasalt. I add 1 tablespoon of raw honey to handle the brutal horrible taste of the seasalt.
Note 3: if doing this, do not go anywhere for at least 2hrs. And stay near a bathroom. You'll thank me later.
After the flushed, roughly around 10 - 11 am I drink a matcha tea cold to give me the energy to get through my day. One hr later I drink my first lemon drink of the day. Once I'm done with the 24 oz I drink my next cup around 3-5 P.M. Around 7 a light protein shake with crushed b-12 and calcium pills as a prep for my workout. Then my last lemon drink around 9ish or 10 and end my day with a laxative tea.
The Seasalt flush is optional. And my two extra drinks are only to allow me to continue working out without hurting myself. Since I have zero nutritional value going in and taking a large amount of acid, it will destory my bones due to calcium deficiency. In my case my exercise while cleansing as well as doing thr extra flush and tea is north of tripling my speed in melting fat. And it is working!
When easing out it is the same thing but in reverse. So we go orange juice → smoothies → raw whole foods and broths. The broths is to allow your body in adapting by enabling the change in taking in other substances than fruits and vegetables. By the six day you can start eating solids again but I would strongly advise to take it really slow. and do not go to a fast food places. That would defeat the purpose and just put you out for a few days. Trust, I learned the hard way.
To recap if wanting to try this. Do the short program. If you can do more, then go for it.
3-4 days easing in, 7 days lemon diet, 5 days ease out.
So what's the next step?
I take it one day at a time. Planing just blows up in my face. Not sure as to why this is but it just does. For my journey I am aiming to be able to do 30days total. I reached a plateau and wasn't burning fat. This was very frustrating. My body had gain control of me. This I could not allow. So I jumped on the cleanse cause I know it would do what I need it to do. Even with that I am doing I still very exhausted and sleepy through out the day. So stay alert! And I am doing this whole thing excluding the water and my b12 pills, completely organic. Yes it is more cost effective but I am serious in doing an entire reboot. Once done everything will change. You'll be bursting and emitting a radiant of energy. You'll be more driven and focused in getting your things in order. Your skin will glow and your liver will be fully cleaned out. Yes you will lose a good amount of weight. Food will smell and taste so much better! And for those dealing with insomnia, you'll get a nice extra few hours of rest. So there is a lot to gain from this.
It comes down to how you treat your body. In my case it's a Circus inside an amusement park with all kinds of safety violations. I'm just reckless like that. lol And I love it! :D
But as far as my consumption. I treat it like a temple.
